Believe?

We have celebrated Easter but the doubts persist.
We have company! All the witnesses to the first Easter had their doubts too.
Especially... “DOUBTING Thomas.” But John wants us to know about Thomas not so much because of his doubt but because of his great confession of faith.
This story of Thomas enables us to look over the shoulders of the late first century Christians who had their doubts just like us.
It is to such doubters that Jesus speaks risen from the dead declaring that not even such doubt can separate us from the love of God.
“Blessed are those who have not seen and believe!” . . . Even doubters like us can believe.
