- Do you suppose it is possible that various people who were involved in our Lord’s Passion ever had the opportunity to talk with one another about it? Perhaps even right then, while the events were happening? Can you imagine what they might have said? This year's midweek Lenten services invite us to listen in on conversations heard at the foot of the cross—conversations that forever touched and changed lives—just as our have been by the crucifixion of Jesus.
- At the foot of the cross, Mary the mother of Jesus and John are drawn into a new family by Jesus. In their grief, we glimpse our own, and are reminded that the love of Christ that draws us together, allows us to endure in the difficult moments in life. Tonight’s drama invites us to stand at the foot of the cross and be entrusted to one another in faith, hope, and love.
