The End of Religion

Many think that good religion is keeping the Ten Commandments. However, in today’s Gospel Jesus shows us that he came to end that kind of religion.


Jesus angrily attacks such religion. If Jesus were to visit us, it would not be very pleasant either.


Jesus attacks our attempts to make religion into something we do to please God.


Instead Jesus offers himself, the end of religion and a new life of service.


We now are FREE and GET TO use our lives to serve the world instead of always having to check on how well we are doing.
