The Power of Lament

Today Jesus calls us into the power of prayerful lament. He calls us to break free from the silence and to mourn so that we may be blessed; to grieve, so that we may rejoice. On the cross He stretches His arm out in an all encompassing, deep and heartfelt hug, like a mother hen who gathers her brood under her wings, and calls us to be willing…calls us to join in embracing the Kingdom of God!
